भगवद गीता अध्याय 5 श्लोक 12
Bhagavad Gita Adhyay 5 Shlok 12 में बताया गया है कि जो व्यक्ति भगवान के प्रति समर्पित होकर फल की इच्छा त्याग देता है, वह शांति प्राप्त करता है, जबकि फल की इच्छा से कर्म करने वाला बंधन में पड़ता है।
श्लोक:
युक्तः कर्मफलं त्यक्त्वा शान्तिमाप्नोति नैष्ठिकीम् ।
अयुक्तः कामकारेण फले सक्तो निबध्यते ॥१२॥
Transliteration:
yuktaḥ karma-phalaṁ tyaktvā śhāntim āpnoti naiṣhṭhikīm
ayuktaḥ kāma-kāreṇa phale sakto nibadhyate
अर्थ:
निश्चल भक्त शुद्ध शान्ति प्राप्त करता है क्योंकि वह समस्त कर्मफल मुझे अर्पित कर देता है, किन्तु जो व्यक्ति भगवान् से युक्त नहीं है और जो अपने श्रम का फलकामी है, वह बँध जाता है।
Meaning:
The steadfast devotee attains pure peace because he surrenders all the fruits of his actions to Me, but one who is not united with the Lord and is attached to the fruits of his labor becomes bound.
तात्पर्य:
एक कृष्णभावनाभावित व्यक्ति तथा एक देहात्मबुद्धि वाले व्यक्ति में यह अन्तर है कि पहला तो कृष्ण के प्रति आसक्त रहता है, जबकि दूसरा अपने कर्मों के फल के प्रति आसक्त रहता है। जो व्यक्ति कृष्ण के प्रति आसक्त रहकर उन्हीं के लिए कर्म करता है, वह निश्चय ही मुक्त पुरुष है और उसे अपने कर्मफल की कोई चिन्ता नहीं होती। भागवत में किसी कर्म के फल की चिन्ता का कारण परम सत्य के ज्ञान के बिना द्वैतभाव में रहकर कर्म करना बताया गया है। कृष्ण श्रीभगवान् हैं। कृष्णभावनामृत में कोई द्वैत नहीं रहता। जो कुछ विद्यमान है, वह कृष्ण की शक्ति का प्रतिफल है और कृष्ण सर्वमंगलमय हैं। अतः कृष्णभावनामृत में सम्पन्न सारे कार्य परम पद पर हैं। वे दिव्य होते हैं और उनका कोई भौतिक प्रभाव नहीं पड़ता।
इस कारण कृष्णभावनामृत में जीव शान्ति से पूरित रहता है। किन्तु जो इन्द्रियतृप्ति के लिए लाभ के लोभ में फँसा रहता है, उसे शान्ति नहीं मिल सकती। यही कृष्णभावनामृत का रहस्य है- यह अनुभूति कि कृष्ण के अतिरिक्त कुछ भी नहीं है, शान्ति तथा अभय का पद है।
There is a fundamental difference between a Krishna-conscious person and one who has a materialistic mentality: the former is attached to Krishna, whereas the latter is attached to the fruits of their actions. One who acts with devotion to Krishna is undoubtedly liberated and does not worry about the results of their actions.
The Bhagavatam explains that the anxiety about the results of actions arises when one acts in duality without knowledge of the Supreme Truth. Krishna is the Supreme Lord. In Krishna consciousness, there is no duality. Everything that exists is a manifestation of Krishna’s power, and Krishna is the source of all auspiciousness.
Therefore, all actions performed in Krishna consciousness are sublime and divine, and they have no material effect. As a result, the soul remains filled with peace.
However, one who is caught in sensual desires and greed for gain cannot attain peace. This is the secret of Krishna consciousness the realization that there is nothing beyond Krishna, which is the position of peace and fearlessness.
