भगवद गीता अध्याय 1 का श्लोक 30
Bhagavad Gita Adhyay 1 Shlok 30 में अर्जुन अपने मानसिक और शारीरिक स्थिति के बारे में श्री कृष्ण से संवाद करते हुए कहते हैं कि उनका मन भ्रमित हो रहा है और वह खड़े रहने में असमर्थ हैं। उन्हें केवल विपरीत और अशुभ घटनाएँ ही दिखाई दे रही हैं, जो उनकी मानसिक कमजोरी का परिणाम हैं।
श्लोक:
न च शकोम्यवस्थातुं भ्रमतीव च मे मनः।
निमित्तानि च पश्यामि विपरीतानि केशव ॥३०॥
Transliteration:
na cha śhaknomy avasthātuṁ bhramatīva cha me manaḥ
nimittāni cha paśhyāmi viparītāni keśhava
अर्थ:
मैं यहाँ अब और अधिक खड़ा रहने में असमर्थ हूँ। मैं अपने को भूल रहा हूँ और मेरा सिर चकरा रहा है। हे कृष्ण! मुझे तो केवल अमंगल के कारण दिख रहे हैं।
Meaning:
I am unable to stand here any longer, my mind is confused, and I feel dizzy. O Keshava! All I see are inauspicious signs.
तात्पर्य:
अपने अधैर्य के कारण अर्जुन युद्धभूमि में खड़ा रहने में असमर्थ था और अपने मन की इस दुर्बलता के कारण उसे आत्मविस्मृति हो रही थी।
भौतिक वस्तुओं के प्रति अत्यधिक आसक्ति के कारण मनुष्य ऐसी मोहमयी स्थिति में पड़ जाता है।
In this verse, Arjuna expresses his inability to remain in his position due to his overwhelming fear and confusion. His mind is in turmoil, and he is losing his focus, with a sense of dizziness overtaking him. He perceives only unfavorable omens, which reflect his inner turmoil and the mental distress caused by his deep attachment to the material world. Arjuna’s reaction here is a reflection of human vulnerability in the face of a great challenge, where fear and confusion cloud the mind.
