भगवद गीता अध्याय 3 श्लोक 18
Bhagavad Gita Adhyay 3 Shlok 18 में भगवान श्री कृष्ण बताते हैं कि स्वरूपसिद्ध व्यक्ति को न तो कर्म करने की आवश्यकता होती है, न ही किसी पर निर्भर रहने की आवश्यकता रहती है।
श्लोक:
नैव तस्य कृतेनार्थो नाकृतेनेह कश्चन।
न चास्य सर्वभूतेषु कश्चिदर्थव्यपाश्रयः ॥१८॥
Transliteration:
naiva tasya kṛitenārtho nākṛiteneha kaśhchana
na chāsya sarva-bhūteṣhu kaśhchid artha-vyapāśhrayaḥ
अर्थ:
स्वरूपसिद्ध व्यक्ति के लिए न तो अपने नियत कर्मों को करने की आवश्यकता रह जाती है, न ऐसा कर्म न करने का कोई कारण ही रहता है। उसे किसी अन्य जीव पर निर्भर रहने की आवश्यकता भी नहीं रह जाती।
Meaning:
For a self-realized person, there is no necessity to perform prescribed duties, nor is there any reason to refrain from doing them. They do not depend on any other being.
तात्पर्य:
स्वरूपसिद्ध व्यक्ति को कृष्णभावनाभावित कर्म के अतिरिक्त कुछ भी करना नहीं होता। किन्तु यह कृष्णभावनामृत निष्क्रियता भी नहीं है, जैसा कि अगले श्लोकों में बताया जाएगा।
कृष्णभावनाभावित व्यक्ति किसी की शरण ग्रहण नहीं करता- चाहे वह मनुष्य हो या देवता कृष्णभावनामृत में वह जो भी करता है वही उसके कर्तव्य-सम्पादन के लिए पर्याप्त है।
In this verse, Lord Krishna explains that a person who has realized their true nature (self-realized) does not need to perform any prescribed duties nor does they have a reason not to. Such a person is not dependent on anyone, whether human or divine. This is not a state of inactivity, but a state where every action is aligned with Krishna consciousness. The self-realized devotee does not seek refuge in anyone else, for whatever they do is sufficient for fulfilling their duties. All their actions are directed toward serving Krishna, and they are no longer bound by the conventional concept of duty or dependence.
