भगवद गीता अध्याय 9 श्लोक 6
Bhagavad Gita Adhyay 9 Shlok 6 में श्रीकृष्ण बताते हैं कि जैसे प्रचंड वायु आकाश में स्थित होती है, वैसे ही समस्त जीवधारी भी उनकी शक्ति पर आधारित रहते हुए उनमें स्थित हैं, फिर भी वे सबसे परे हैं।
श्लोक:
यथाकाशस्थितो नित्यं वायुः सर्वत्रगो महान्।
तथा सर्वाणि भूतानि मत्स्थानीत्युपधारय॥६॥
Transliteration:
yathākāśha-sthito nityaṁ vāyuḥ sarvatra-go mahān
tathā sarvāṇi bhūtāni mat-sthānītyupadhāraya
अर्थ:
जिस प्रकार सर्वत्र प्रवहमान प्रबल वायु सदैव आकाश में स्थित रहती है, उसी प्रकार समस्त उत्पन्न प्राणियों को मुझमें स्थित जानो।
Meaning:
As the mighty wind, blowing everywhere, always rests in space, know that in the same manner, all beings rest in Me.
तात्पर्य:
सामान्यजन के लिए यह समझ पाना कठिन है कि इतनी विशाल सृष्टि भगवान् पर किस प्रकार आश्रित है। किन्तु भगवान् उदाहरण प्रस्तुत करते हैं, जिससे हमें समझने में सहायता मिले।
आकाश हमारी कल्पना के लिए सबसे महान अभिव्यक्ति है और उस आकाश में वायु विराट जगत् की सबसे महान अभिव्यक्ति है। वायु की गति से प्रत्येक वस्तु की गति प्रभावित होती है। किन्तु वायु महान होते हुए भी आकाश के अन्तर्गत ही स्थित रहती है, वह आकाश से परे नहीं होती।
इसी प्रकार समस्त विचित्र विराट अभिव्यक्तियों का अस्तित्व भगवान् की परम इच्छा के फलस्वरूप हैं और वे सब इस परम इच्छा के अधीन हैं- जैसा कि हम लोग प्रायः कहते हैं: “उनकी इच्छा के बिना एक पत्ता भी नहीं हिलता।”
इस प्रकार प्रत्येक वस्तु उनकी इच्छा के अधीन गतिशील है, उनकी ही इच्छा से सारी वस्तुएँ उत्पन्न होती हैं, उनका पालन होता है और उनका संहार होता है।
इतने पर भी वे प्रत्येक वस्तु से उसी तरह पृथक् रहते हैं, जिस प्रकार वायु के कार्यों से आकाश रहता है।
It is often difficult for ordinary people to understand how this vast cosmic manifestation can be dependent on the Lord. To help us grasp this, the Lord provides a practical example. Space (ākāśa) is one of the most expansive elements known, and within it, air (vāyu) which is immensely powerful moves and operates.
Even though air is dynamic and pervades everything, it always remains situated within space. It does not exist outside or beyond space. Similarly, all created beings exist within the will and power of the Supreme Lord, and they are entirely dependent on Him.
Just as we commonly say, "Not even a leaf moves without His will," in the same way, all living entities and all cosmic movements are governed by the Lord’s supreme will. Creation, maintenance, and destruction all occur under His control.
Yet, despite being the controller and sustainer of all, the Lord remains distinct and unaffected, just as space remains unaffected by the movements of air within it.
