भगवद गीता अध्याय 11 श्लोक 21
Bhagavad Gita Adhyay 11 Shlok 21 में अर्जुन वर्णन करते हैं कि कैसे देवता, महर्षि, और सिद्ध भगवान के विराट रूप को देखकर भयभीत होकर प्रार्थना और स्तुति कर रहे हैं।
श्लोक:
अमी हि त्वां सुरसङ्घा विशन्ति
केचिद्भीताः प्राञ्जलयो गृणन्ति।
स्वस्तीत्युक्त्वा महर्षिसिद्धसङ्घाः
स्तुवन्ति त्वां स्तुतिभिः पुष्कलाभिः ॥२१॥
Transliteration:
amī hi tvāṁ sura-saṅghā viśhanti
kechid bhītāḥ prāñjalayo gṛiṇanti
svastīty uktvā maharṣhi-siddha-saṅghāḥ
stuvanti tvāṁ stutibhiḥ puṣhkalābhiḥ
अर्थ:
देवों का सारा समूह आपकी शरण ले रहा है और आपमें प्रवेश कर रहा है। उनमें से कुछ अत्यन्त भयभीत होकर हाथ जोड़े आपकी प्रार्थना कर रहे हैं।
महर्षियों तथा सिद्धों के समूह "कल्याण हो" कहकर वैदिक स्तोत्रों का पाठ करते हुए आपकी स्तुति कर रहे हैं।
Meaning:
All the hosts of demigods are surrendering unto You and entering into You. Some of them, in great fear, are praying with folded hands. The hosts of great sages and perfected beings are chanting auspicious hymns and glorifying You with abundant praises.
तात्पर्य:
समस्त लोकों के देवता विश्वरूप की भयानकता तथा प्रदीप्त तेज से इतने भयभीत थे कि वे रक्षा के लिए प्रार्थना करने लगे।
All the demigods of the various worlds were so terrified by the dreadful and blazing form of the universal manifestation that they began praying for protection.
