भगवद गीता अध्याय 16 श्लोक 13-14-15
Bhagavad Gita Adhyay 16 Shlok 13-14-15 में भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने बताया है कि आसुरी लोग अहंकार और अज्ञान के कारण धन, शक्ति और भोग को ही सर्वोच्च मानते हैं और झूठे गर्व में स्वयं को ईश्वर समझने लगते हैं।
श्लोक:
इदमद्य मया लब्धमिमं प्राप्स्ये मनोरथम् ।
इदमस्तीदमपि मे भविष्यति पुनर्धनम् ॥१३॥
असौ मया हतः शत्रुर्हनिष्ये चापरानपि ।
ईश्वरोऽहमहं भोगी सिद्धोऽहं बलवान्सुखी ॥१४॥
आढ्योऽभिजनवानस्मि कोऽन्योऽस्ति सदृशो मया ।
यक्ष्ये दास्यामि मोदिष्य इत्यज्ञानविमोहिताः ॥१५॥
Transliteration:
idam adya mayā labdham imaṁ prāpsye manoratham
idam astīdam api me bhaviṣhyati punar dhanam
asau mayā hataḥ śhatrur haniṣhye chāparān api
īśhvaro ’ham ahaṁ bhogī siddho ’haṁ balavān sukhī
āḍhyo ’bhijanavān asmi ko ’nyo ’sti sadṛiśho mayā
yakṣhye dāsyāmi modiṣhya ity ajñāna-vimohitāḥ
अर्थ:
आसुरी व्यक्ति सोचता है-"आज मेरे पास इतना धन है और अपनी योजनाओं से मैं और अधिक धन कमाऊँगा। इस समय मेरे पास इतना है, किन्तु भविष्य में यह बढ़कर और अधिक हो जायेगा। वह मेरा शत्रु है और मैंने उसे मार दिया है और मेरे अन्य शत्रु भी मार दिए जाएंगे। मैं सभी वस्तुओं का स्वामी हूँ। मैं भोक्ता हूँ। मैं सिद्ध, शक्तिमान् तथा सुखी हूँ। मैं सबसे धनी व्यक्ति हूँ और मेरे आसपास मेरे कुलीन सम्बन्धी हैं। कोई अन्य मेरे समान शक्तिमान तथा सुखी नहीं है। मैं यज्ञ करूँगा, दान दूँगा और इस तरह आनन्द मनाऊँगा।" इस प्रकार ऐसे व्यक्ति अज्ञानवश मोहग्रस्त होते रहते हैं।
Meaning:
The demoniac person thinks: "So much wealth I have gained today, and I will gain even more according to my plans. I have this now, but more will come in the future. That enemy I have destroyed, and others too will be killed. I am the lord, the enjoyer, perfect, powerful, and happy. I am wealthy and surrounded by aristocratic relatives. No one else is equal to me. I will perform sacrifices, give charity, and enjoy life." In this way, deluded by ignorance, such persons remain bewildered.
तात्पर्य:
यहाँ भगवान् कृष्ण आसुरी मानसिकता का विस्तृत वर्णन करते हैं। ऐसे व्यक्ति धन, शक्ति और भोग को ही अपनी उपलब्धियों का प्रमाण मानते हैं। वे सोचते हैं कि धन ही सर्वोच्च है और उनकी इच्छाएँ कभी समाप्त नहीं होतीं। वे शत्रुओं का नाश करने में गर्व महसूस करते हैं और स्वयं को सिद्ध, शक्तिमान तथा सुखी समझते हैं।
ऐसे लोग अपने को ईश्वर के समान मानते हैं-"ईश्वरोऽहम्"-और भौतिक सम्पत्ति तथा प्रतिष्ठा में ही अपनी श्रेष्ठता देखते हैं। वे यह नहीं जानते कि धन, शक्ति और यश सब अस्थायी हैं और ईश्वर की कृपा के बिना कुछ भी सम्भव नहीं।
भौतिक अहंकार और अज्ञान के कारण वे झूठे गर्व में यज्ञ और दान करने की बात करते हैं, किन्तु उनका उद्देश्य केवल दिखावा और आत्म-संतोष होता है, न कि वास्तविक धर्म। ऐसे मोहग्रस्त लोग संसार में और अधिक बँध जाते हैं और उनका झूठा सुख उन्हें सच्चे आध्यात्मिक मार्ग से दूर कर देता है।
In these verses, Lord Krishna explains the mentality of the demoniac. Such people think only of wealth, power, and sense enjoyment. They are always planning for more possessions, boasting about destroying their enemies, and considering themselves the supreme controller.
Thinking "I am the lord, I am perfect, I am powerful, I am happy," they become deluded by false ego. Though they may perform sacrifices or charity, their motives are impure, driven by pride and arrogance rather than devotion.
Thus, blinded by ignorance, they remain entangled in material life, unable to realize the eternal truth of the soul and God. Their arrogance binds them to repeated birth and death, far from true peace and liberation.
