भगवद गीता अध्याय 16 श्लोक 16
Bhagavad Gita Adhyay 16 Shlok 16 में भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने बताया है कि आसुरी लोग मोह और असंख्य चिंताओं में उलझकर भौतिक भोगों में अत्यधिक आसक्त हो जाते हैं और अंततः अधम नरक में गिरते हैं।
श्लोक:
अनेकचित्तविभ्रान्ता मोहजालसमावृताः ।
प्रसक्ताः कामभोगेषु पतन्ति नरकेऽशुचौ ॥१६॥
Transliteration:
aneka-chitta-vibhrāntā moha-jāla-samāvṛitāḥ
prasaktāḥ kāma-bhogeṣhu patanti narake ’śhuchau
अर्थ:
इस प्रकार अनेक चिंताओं से उद्विग्न होकर तथा मोहजाल में बँधकर वे इन्द्रियभोग में अत्यधिक आसक्त हो जाते हैं और अधम नरक में गिरते हैं।
Meaning:
Thus, being bewildered by countless anxieties and entangled in the web of illusion, they become excessively attached to sensual enjoyment and fall into the foul hell.
तात्पर्य:
भगवान् यहाँ बताते हैं कि आसुरी प्रवृत्ति वाले लोग असंख्य योजनाओं और चिंताओं से घिरे रहते हैं। उनका मन स्थिर नहीं रहता और वे मोहजाल में बुरी तरह फँसे रहते हैं। उनका जीवन केवल भौतिक सुखों और इन्द्रियभोग में लिप्त रहता है।
ऐसे लोग जितना अधिक भोग करते हैं, उतना ही उनके मोह और इच्छाएँ बढ़ती जाती हैं। यह मोह उन्हें अधर्म और पापकर्म की ओर ले जाता है। परिणामस्वरूप वे धीरे-धीरे अधोगति को प्राप्त होकर अशुचि नरक में गिर जाते हैं।
Lord Krishna describes the destiny of the demoniac here. Their minds are disturbed by endless anxieties and desires. Covered by the web of illusion, they are trapped in lustful pleasures and cannot control their senses.
Such people waste their lives chasing temporary gratification, ignoring spiritual duties. Overwhelmed by attachment, they engage in sinful acts, which ultimately drag them down to unclean hellish conditions.
Instead of finding peace, they suffer degradation, proving that material attachment without devotion leads only to downfall.
