भगवद गीता अध्याय 3 श्लोक 22
Bhagavad Gita Adhyay 3 Shlok 22 में श्रीकृष्ण अर्जुन से कहते हैं कि यद्यपि उन्हें किसी भी लोक में कोई कार्य करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है, फिर भी वे कर्म में लगे रहते हैं ताकि संसार में उचित उदाहरण प्रस्तुत हो।
श्लोक:
न मे पार्थास्ति कर्तव्यं त्रिषु लोकेषु किञ्चन ।
नानवाप्तमवाप्तव्यं वर्त एव च कर्मणि ॥२२॥
Transliteration:
na me pārthāsti kartavyaṁ triṣhu lokeṣhu kiñchana
nānavāptam avāptavyaṁ varta eva cha karmaṇi
अर्थ:
हे पृथापुत्र! तीनों लोकों में मेरे लिए कोई भी कर्तव्य नहीं है। न मुझे कुछ अप्राप्त है और न ही कुछ प्राप्त करने योग्य है। फिर भी मैं कर्म में तत्पर रहता हूँ।
Meaning:
O son of Pritha, there is no duty prescribed for Me within all the three worlds. Nor is there anything that I need to gain, nor is there anything I have not gained. Still, I engage in prescribed duties.
तात्पर्य:
वैदिक साहित्य में भगवान् का वर्णन इस प्रकार हुआ है-
तमीश्वराणां परमं महेश्वरं तं देवतानां परमं च दैवतम् ।
पतिं पतीनां परमं परस्ताद् विदाम देवं भुवेनशमीड्यम् ॥
न तस्य कार्यं करणं च विद्यते न तत्समश्चाभ्यधिकश्च दृश्यते ।
परास्य शक्तिर्विविधैव श्रूयते स्वाभाविकी ज्ञानबलक्रिया च ॥
'परमेश्वर समस्त नियन्ताओं के नियन्ता हैं और विभिन्न लोकपालकों में सबसे महान हैं। सभी उनके अधीन हैं। सारे जीवों को परमेश्वर से ही विशिष्ट शक्ति प्राप्त होती है, जीव स्वयं श्रेष्ठ नहीं है।
वे सभी देवताओं द्वारा पूज्य हैं और समस्त संचालकों के भी संचालक हैं। अतः वे समस्त भौतिक नेताओं तथा नियन्ताओं से बढ़कर हैं और सबों द्वारा आराध्य हैं। उनसे बढ़कर कोई नहीं है और वे ही समस्त कारणों के कारण हैं।'
In the Vedic scriptures, the Supreme Lord is described as:
“He is the Supreme Controller of all controllers, the Supreme Deity of all demigods.
He is the master of all masters and is transcendental. Let us know that supreme divine Lord,
who is to be glorified throughout the world.”
“He has no duties to perform, nor does He require any instruments.
No one is equal to or greater than Him. His supreme powers operate in various ways
natural knowledge, strength, and action manifest from Him alone.”
The Supreme Lord governs all other controllers and protectors. Every being derives its power from Him; no one is superior in and of themselves. All demigods worship Him, and He controls even the greatest directors. Therefore, He is greater than all material rulers and is worshipable by everyone. There is no one beyond Him He is the ultimate cause of all causes.
