भगवद गीता अध्याय 6 श्लोक 39
Bhagavad Gita Adhyay 6 Shlok 39 में अर्जुन श्रीकृष्ण से प्रार्थना करते हैं कि वे उनके गहरे सन्देह को पूर्ण रूप से दूर करें, क्योंकि यह केवल श्रीकृष्ण ही कर सकते हैं।
श्लोक:
एतन्मे संशयं कृष्ण छेत्तुमर्हस्यशेषतः।
त्वदन्यः संशयस्यास्य छेत्ता न ह्युपपद्यते॥३९॥
Transliteration:
etan me sanśhayaṁ kṛiṣhṇa chhettum arhasyaśheṣhataḥ
tvad-anyaḥ sanśhayasyāsya chhettā na hyupapadyate
अर्थ:
हे कृष्ण! यही मेरा सन्देह है, और मैं आपसे इसे पूर्णतया दूर करने की प्रार्थना कर रहा हूँ। आपके अतिरिक्त अन्य कोई ऐसा नहीं है, जो इस सन्देह को नष्ट कर सके।
Meaning:
This is my doubt, O Krishna, and I ask You to dispel it completely. For besides You, no one is capable of destroying this doubt.
तात्पर्य:
कृष्ण भूत, वर्तमान तथा भविष्य के जानने वाले हैं। भगवद्गीता के प्रारम्भ में भगवान् ने कहा है कि सारे जीव व्यष्टि रूप में भूतकाल में विद्यमान थे, इस समय विद्यमान हैं और भवबन्धन से मुक्त होने पर भविष्य में भी व्यष्टि रूप में बने रहेंगे। इस प्रकार उन्होंने व्यष्टि जीव के भविष्य विषयक प्रश्न का स्पष्टीकरण कर दिया है। अब अर्जुन असफल योगियों के भविष्य के विषय में जानना चाहता है।
कोई न तो कृष्ण के समान है, न ही उनसे बड़ा तथाकथित बड़े-बड़े ऋषि तथा दार्शनिक, जो प्रकृति की कृपा पर निर्भर हैं, निश्चय ही उनकी समता नहीं कर सकते।
अतः समस्त सन्देहों का पूरा-पूरा उत्तर पाने के लिए कृष्ण का निर्णय अन्तिम तथा पूर्ण है क्योंकि वे भूत, वर्तमान तथा भविष्य के ज्ञाता हैं, किन्तु उन्हें कोई भी नहीं जानता। कृष्ण तथा कृष्णभावनाभावित व्यक्ति ही जान सकते हैं कि कौन क्या है।
Lord Krishna is the knower of past, present, and future. At the beginning of the Bhagavad Gita, He clarified that individual souls existed in the past, exist now, and will continue to exist in the future. Now, Arjuna is asking about the fate of the unsuccessful yogi — those who fall from the path of self-realization.
Since Krishna alone possesses perfect knowledge, no sage or philosopher — all of whom are subject to the limitations of material nature — can answer such a question fully. Only Krishna, being the Supreme Personality of Godhead, can decisively and completely dispel all doubts.
Thus, Arjuna surrenders his doubt to the Lord, understanding that no one but Krishna is qualified to resolve it. And only those who are Krishna conscious — in touch with Him — may also know these truths.
