भगवद गीता अध्याय 7 श्लोक 10
Bhagavad Gita Adhyay 7 Shlok 10 में श्रीकृष्ण अर्जुन से कहते हैं कि वे ही समस्त जीवों का सनातन बीज हैं, बुद्धिमानों की बुद्धि और तेजस्वियों का तेज भी वही हैं।
श्लोक:
बीजं मां सर्वभूतानां विद्धि पार्थ सनातनम्।
बुद्धिर्बुद्धिमतामस्मि तेजस्तेजस्विनामहम्॥१०॥
Transliteration:
bījaṁ māṁ sarva-bhūtānāṁ viddhi pārtha sanātanam
buddhir buddhimatām asmi tejas tejasvinām aham
अर्थ:
हे पृथापुत्र! यह जान लो कि मैं ही समस्त जीवों का आदि बीज हूँ, बुद्धिमानों की बुद्धि तथा समस्त तेजस्वी पुरुषों का तेज हूँ।
Meaning:
O son of Pritha, know that I am the eternal seed of all living beings. I am the intelligence of the intelligent and the brilliance of the powerful.
तात्पर्य:
कृष्ण समस्त पदार्थों के बीज हैं। कई प्रकार के चर तथा अचर जीव हैं। पक्षी, पशु, मनुष्य तथा अन्य सजीव प्राणी चर हैं, पेड़-पौधे अचर हैं - वे चल नहीं सकते, केवल खड़े रहते हैं।
प्रत्येक जीव चौरासी लाख योनियों के अन्तर्गत है, जिनमें से कुछ चर हैं और कुछ अचर। किन्तु इन सबके जीवन के बीजस्वरूप श्रीकृष्ण हैं। जैसा कि वैदिक साहित्य में कहा गया है - ब्रह्म या परम सत्य वह है, जिससे प्रत्येक वस्तु उद्भूत है।
कृष्ण परब्रह्म या परमात्मा हैं। ब्रह्म तो निर्विशेष है, किन्तु परब्रह्म साकार है। निर्विशेष ब्रह्म साकार रूप में आधारित है - यह भगवद्गीता में कहा गया है। अतः आदि रूप में कृष्ण समस्त वस्तुओं के उद्गम हैं। वे मूल हैं।
जिस प्रकार मूल सारे वृक्ष का पालन करता है, उसी प्रकार कृष्ण मूल होने के कारण इस जगत् के समस्त प्राणियों का पालन करते हैं।
Lord Krishna is the eternal seed of all living beings. There are two broad categories of living entities - mobile (like humans, animals, birds) and immobile (like trees and plants). Altogether, there are 8.4 million species (yoni), and Krishna is the seed - the original source - of all of them.
As described in the Vedic scriptures, Brahman or the Absolute Truth is He from whom everything emanates. Krishna is the Parabrahman, the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
Impersonal Brahman is merely an aspect of Krishna, who is personal and the origin of all. The root of a tree nourishes the whole tree - similarly, Krishna, being the original root, nourishes all living beings in the material and spiritual worlds.
