भगवद गीता अध्याय 7 श्लोक 9
Bhagavad Gita Adhyay 7 Shlok 9 में भगवान श्रीकृष्ण कहते हैं कि वे पृथ्वी की शुद्ध सुगंध, अग्नि की ऊष्मा, सभी प्राणियों में जीवन और तपस्वियों का तपस्व हैं।
श्लोक:
पुण्यो गन्धः पृथिव्यां च तेजश्चास्मि विभावसौ।
जीवनं सर्वभूतेषु तपश्चास्मि तपस्विषु॥९॥
Transliteration:
puṇyo gandhaḥ pṛithivyāṁ cha tejaśh chāsmi vibhāvasau
jīvanaṁ sarva-bhūteṣhu tapaśh chāsmi tapasviṣhu
अर्थ:
मैं पृथ्वी की आद्य सुगंध और अग्नि की ऊष्मा हूँ। मैं समस्त जीवों का जीवन तथा तपस्वियों का तप हूँ।
Meaning:
I am the pure fragrance of the earth and the brilliance in fire. I am the life in all living beings, and I am the austerity in the austere.
तात्पर्य:
पुण्य का अर्थ है - जिसमें विकार न हो, अतः आद्य। इस जगत् में प्रत्येक वस्तु में कोई न कोई सुगंध होती है, यथा फूल की सुगंध या जल, पृथ्वी, अग्नि, वायु आदि की सुगंध। समस्त वस्तुओं में व्याप्त अदूषित भौतिक गन्ध, जो आद्य सुगंध है, वह कृष्ण हैं।
इसी प्रकार प्रत्येक वस्तु का एक विशिष्ट स्वाद (रस) होता है और इस स्वाद को रसायनों के मिश्रण द्वारा बदला जा सकता है। अतः प्रत्येक मूल वस्तु में कोई न कोई गन्ध तथा स्वाद होता है।
विभावसु का अर्थ अग्नि है। अग्नि के बिना न तो फैक्टरी चल सकती है, न भोजन पक सकता है। यह अग्नि कृष्ण है। अग्नि का तेज (ऊष्मा) भी कृष्ण ही है। वैदिक चिकित्सा के अनुसार कुपच का कारण पेट में अग्नि की मंदता है। अतः पाचन तक के लिए अग्नि आवश्यक है।
कृष्णभावनामृत में हम इस बात से अवगत होते हैं कि पृथ्वी, जल, अग्नि, वायु तथा प्रत्येक सक्रिय तत्त्व, सारे रसायन तथा सारे भौतिक तत्त्व कृष्ण के कारण हैं।
मनुष्य की आयु भी कृष्ण के कारण है। अतः कृष्ण की कृपा से ही मनुष्य अपने को दीर्घायु या अल्पजीवी बना सकता है। अतः कृष्णभावनामृत प्रत्येक क्षेत्र में सक्रिय रहता है।
"Punya gandha" means the original pure fragrance that is present in all natural things - whether flowers, water, fire, or earth. This pure, untainted smell is one of Krishna’s energies. Similarly, every object has a natural taste or essence that can be altered by chemicals - but in its pure form, both taste and fragrance come from Krishna.
"Vibhavasu" refers to fire. Fire is essential for industry, for cooking, and even for digestion in the body, according to Vedic medicine. Krishna is the energy within that fire - its brilliance and heat.
We also learn from Krishna consciousness that all active material elements - earth, water, fire, air, and the base of all chemistry - function because of Krishna. Even the life span of living beings is under Krishna’s control.
Thus, by Krishna’s mercy alone, one can live long or short. Krishna consciousness is active and relevant in every field - physical, material, or spiritual.
