भगवद गीता अध्याय 8 श्लोक 7
Bhagavad Gita Adhyay 8 Shlok 7 में श्रीकृष्ण अर्जुन से कहते हैं कि मन और बुद्धि को भगवान में स्थिर कर युद्ध जैसे कर्तव्य करते हुए भी मनुष्य भगवान को प्राप्त कर सकता है। यह हर कर्मयोगी के लिए अत्यंत उपयोगी संदेश है।
श्लोक:
तस्मात्सर्वेषु कालेषु मामनुस्मर युध्य च।
मय्यर्पितमनोबुद्धिर्मामेवैष्यस्यसंशयः॥७॥
Transliteration:
tasmāt sarveṣhu kāleṣhu mām anusmara yudhya cha
mayyarpita-mano-buddhir mām evaiṣhyasyasanśhayam
अर्थ:
अतएव, हे अर्जुन! तुम्हें सदैव कृष्ण रूप में मेरा चिन्तन करना चाहिए और साथ ही युद्ध करने के कर्तव्य को भी पूरा करना चाहिए। अपने कर्मों को मुझे समर्पित करके तथा अपने मन एवं बुद्धि को मुझमें स्थिर करके तुम निश्चित रूप से मुझे प्राप्त कर सकोगे।
Meaning:
Therefore, Arjuna, always think of Me in the form of Krishna and at the same time carry out your prescribed duty of fighting. With your activities dedicated to Me and your mind and intellect fixed on Me, you will undoubtedly come to Me.
तात्पर्य:
अर्जुन को दिया गया यह उपदेश भौतिक कार्यों में व्यस्त रहने वाले समस्त व्यक्तियों के लिए बड़ा महत्त्वपूर्ण है। भगवान् यह नहीं कहते कि कोई अपने कर्तव्यों को त्याग दे। मनुष्य उन्हें करते हुए साथ-साथ हरे कृष्ण का जप करके कृष्ण का चिन्तन कर सकता है।
इससे मनुष्य भौतिक कल्मष से मुक्त हो जायेगा और अपने मन तथा बुद्धि को कृष्ण में प्रवृत्त करेगा। कृष्ण का नाम जप करने से मनुष्य परमधाम कृष्णलोक को प्राप्त होगा, इसमें कोई सन्देह नहीं है।
This instruction to Arjuna is very important for all people who are engaged in material duties. The Lord does not advise giving up work. Rather, one should continue performing their responsibilities while also chanting the holy names of Krishna and remembering Him.
By doing so, one becomes free from material contamination and gradually fixes the mind and intelligence on Krishna. Through constant remembrance and surrender, one certainly attains the Supreme Abode Krishna-loka. There is no doubt about it.
