भगवद गीता अध्याय 9 श्लोक 11
Bhagavad Gita Adhyay 9 Shlok 11 में श्रीकृष्ण कहते हैं कि जब वे मनुष्य रूप में प्रकट होते हैं, तो मूर्ख लोग उन्हें केवल एक सामान्य व्यक्ति समझते हैं और उनके दिव्य स्वरूप और सर्वोच्चता को नहीं पहचानते।
श्लोक:
अवजानन्ति मां मूढा मानुषीं तनुमाश्रितम्।
परं भावमजानन्तो मम भूतमहेश्वरम्॥११॥
Transliteration:
avajānanti māṁ mūḍhā mānuṣhīṁ tanum āśhritam
paraṁ bhāvam ajānanto mama bhūta-maheśhvaram
अर्थ:
जब मैं मनुष्य रूप में अवतरित होता हूँ, तो मूर्ख मेरा उपहास करते हैं। वे परमेश्वर के दिव्य स्वभाव को नहीं जानते।
Meaning:
Fools deride Me when I descend in a human form. They do not understand My transcendental nature as the Supreme Lord of all beings.
तात्पर्य:
इस अध्याय के पूर्ववर्ती श्लोकों से यह स्पष्ट है कि यद्यपि भगवान् मनुष्य रूप में प्रकट होते हैं, किन्तु वे सामान्य व्यक्ति नहीं होते।
जो भगवान् सारे विराट जगत का सृजन, पालन तथा संहार करता हो, वह मनुष्य नहीं हो सकता। तो भी ऐसे अनेक मूर्ख हैं, जो कृष्ण को एक शक्तिशाली पुरुष के अतिरिक्त और कुछ नहीं मानते।
वस्तुतः वे आदि परमपुरुष हैं, जैसा कि ब्रह्मसंहिता में प्रमाण स्वरूप कहा गया है-“ईश्वरः परमः कृष्णः” वे परम ईश्वर हैं।
ईश्वर या नियन्ता अनेक हैं और वे एक दूसरे से बढ़कर प्रतीत होते हैं। भौतिक जगत् में सामान्य प्रबन्धकार्यों का कोई न कोई निर्देशक होता है, जिसके ऊपर एक सचिव होता है, फिर उसके ऊपर मन्त्री तथा उससे भी ऊपर राष्ट्रपति होता है।
इनमें से हर एक नियन्त्रक होता है, किन्तु एक दूसरे के द्वारा नियन्त्रित होता है। ब्रह्मसंहिता में कहा गया है कि कृष्ण परम नियन्ता हैं। निस्सन्देह भौतिक जगत् तथा वैकुण्ठलोक दोनों में ही कई-कई निर्देशक होते हैं, किन्तु कृष्ण परम नियन्ता हैं (ईश्वरः परमः कृष्णः) तथा उनका शरीर सच्चिदानन्द रूप अर्थात् अभौतिक होता है।
Though the Lord appears in human form, He is not an ordinary human. As mentioned in the previous verses, He is the Supreme Controller the Creator, Sustainer, and Destroyer of all universes.
Still, the ignorant, the spiritually blind, consider Him just a great personality or a powerful man. They do not realize that He is the Supreme Person. As Brahma-saṁhitā states:
“īśvaraḥ paramaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ” Krishna is the Supreme Controller.
In the material world, there are many levels of controllers ministers, governors, presidents. But each one is controlled by someone above them. In contrast, Krishna is the ultimate controller, both in the material and spiritual worlds.
His body is sac-cid-ānanda eternal, full of knowledge and bliss. It is not made of material elements.
Fools mock Him when He comes in human form because they judge Him by His appearance and overlook His divine essence. Only the wise, whose knowledge is refined by devotion, can understand Krishna’s true transcendental nature.
