भगवद गीता अध्याय 13 श्लोक 29
Bhagavad Gita Adhyay 13 Shlok 29 में बताया गया है कि जो व्यक्ति परमात्मा को सभी प्राणियों और हर स्थान पर समान रूप से स्थित देखता है, वह अपने मन द्वारा स्वयं को भ्रष्ट नहीं करता और धीरे-धीरे दिव्य गन्तव्य को प्राप्त कर लेता है।
श्लोक:
समं पश्यन्हि सर्वत्र समवस्थितमीश्वरम् ।
न हिनस्त्यात्मनात्मानं ततो याति परां गतिम् ॥२९॥
Transliteration:
samaṁ paśhyan hi sarvatra samavasthitam īśhvaram
na hinasty ātmanātmānaṁ tato yāti parāṁ gatim
अर्थ:
जो व्यक्ति परमात्मा को सर्वत्र तथा प्रत्येक जीव में समान रूप से वर्तमान देखता है, वह अपने मन के द्वारा अपने आपको भ्रष्ट नहीं करता। इस प्रकार वह दिव्य गन्तव्य को प्राप्त करता है।
Meaning:
One who sees the Supreme Lord equally present everywhere and in all beings does not degrade himself by his mind. Thus, he attains the supreme destination.
तात्पर्य:
जीव, अपना भौतिक अस्तित्व स्वीकार करने के कारण, अपने आध्यात्मिक अस्तित्व से पृथक् हो गया है।
किन्तु यदि वह यह समझता है कि परमेश्वर अपने परमात्मा स्वरूप में सर्वत्र स्थित हैं, अर्थात् यदि वह भगवान् की उपस्थिति प्रत्येक वस्तु में देखता है, तो वह विघटनकारी मानसिकता से अपने आपको नीचे नहीं गिराता और इसलिए वह क्रमशः वैकुण्ठ लोक की ओर बढ़ता जाता है।
सामान्यतया मन इन्द्रियतृप्तिकारी कार्यों में लीन रहता है, लेकिन जब वही मन परमात्मा की ओर उन्मुख होता है, तो मनुष्य आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान में आगे बढ़ जाता है।
The living being, having accepted material existence, has become separated from his true spiritual identity. However, when he realizes that the Supreme Lord, as the Supersoul, is situated everywhere, and perceives His presence in everything, he does not degrade himself with a destructive mentality. Instead, he gradually advances toward the spiritual realm, Vaikuntha.
Ordinarily, the mind is absorbed in sense gratification, but when that same mind turns toward the Supersoul, the person makes progress in spiritual knowledge and moves closer to liberation.
